Competition is often pushing technology to the limit. Working with a leading edge team is one of the keys to go after the latest developments and improvements of the design tools.
Starting from 1990, we have reached a large experience in CFD applied to America's Cup yachts. Our past campaigns as CFD responsible are the following:
- Il Moro di Venezia, San Diego 1992
- Fast 2000, Auckland 2000
- Luna Rossa Challenge, Valencia 2007
Currently Mario Caponnetto and Francis Hueber are taking care of the hydrodynamic CFD calculations for a syndicate for the 33rd America's Cup.
